Gradian 2012 @ UiTM

promoting Dian Pelangi Malaysia.

Dian Pelangi, young, pretty, and talented designer. (and very tall!haha)

Just 21 years old, she travels all around the world to promote her label.

What more can I say. Respect!

Luckily the event was held in my university.

Ok,the photography side.

Shooting a fashion show is always a big challenge for me.

Seriously!

I found it so hard to get the photo that I like.

Gradian 2012 was held in Dewan Sri Budiman, UiTM, and it was dark. Very dark.

The problem was, when I shot with flash, the shadows began to form and ruin everything.

Now I know why I need a full-frame body and the VR telephoto lens! Even with my D7000, shooting at ISO3200 and the 70-200 Sigma (no VR), were not helpful at all.

But, when I used my 50 1.8d @ ISO3200 or 6400 and no flash, the result was pleasing.

Yet, 50 1.8d, is not the lens for this kind of event.

You know why 🙂

70-200 2.8 Sigma is still my favourite despite the result. The High Speed Motor (HSM) made the focusing easy.

Nevertheless, I had a great time.

Ok allow me to type in Bahasa Melayu.
